God promises Abram a people, in a place, blessed by God to bless others. So he sets off into the 'unknown', with little specific information, just God's word to go on.
I have similar promises, that I am blessed to be part of God's family heading for eternity with Him. These promises often feel less tangible than I would like. But if God has said something, that is as tangible as you can get.
Every day I have countless choices to trust the vapour that I see all around me (which seems so real) or put my weight on the Rock which is so big and so solid that I can't see it.
