Noah did all that the Lord commanded him.Genesis 7:5
Noah is saved by trusting the way that God has given him - the ark. His faith in God resulted in him doing what God had said - building the ark and getting into it, not coming up with a different way of avoiding the flood.
I am saved by trusting the way that God has given me - Jesus. My faith will result in me trusting the person he has given to save me - Jesus, not trying to find another way of saving myself
When I sin - do I run straight to Jesus, trusting in his grace, or do I try an 'work it off'?
